For this painting I took direct inspiration from the cubist portraits of Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque.
The Phillie Phanatic is the greatest mascot in baseball and arguably the greatest mascot in all of sports. He is a favorite subject of mine to paint, and I often try different styles and techniques when painting him.
